New Classic Rock is sweeping the Country...!!
- DON"T MISS OUT - MARS HALL is leading the way..!!
The new Mars Hall album "Is There Anybody Out There?" is getting critical acclaim and just received six Madison Area Music Awards. (see album reviews)
Their own compositions are simply characterized by a fantastic musical output, conclusion 10 out of 10: Mars Hall - Remember the name! This band deserves world fame!
This band comes highly recommended if you like your rock and roll to be loud and unpretentious, with honesty and passion as the key ingredients in this mix!
From the well balanced production and creative instrumentation, to the impressive vocal performance, fans of Mars Hall, as well as those who appreciate new music, will definitely want to hear this album.
Mars Hall’s sound may be an admitted throwback to 80s hard rock, but the group’s album, Is Anybody Out There, is packed with strong songs – whether considered retro or not.
Unlike the original hard rock acts that inspired this band, this group is dead serious about very serious topics. Mötley Crüe may have been obsessed with girls, girls, girls, but Mars Hall is more concerned about the meaning of life. It’s a contrast that’s striking.
Right from the opening salvo, you realize that polish is exactly the right word as the music is sharp and crisp, deftly wrought and wonderfully accessible.
A nice, raw, and rough sound tears through Mars Hall’s “Is Anybody Out There?”. The blend of elements of punk, pop, and garage rock into an unruly whole is quite a joy.
The album has a wonderful collection of songs which gives classic rock vibe! The stunning guitar work and power packed drums enthralls the listeners. The vocals are raw, passionate and stirs our hearts! Overall, the band is marvellous and fans would definitely admire the classic rock vista that they provide in this album.
"Needless to say, Mars Hall is already making waves in the rock scene, and it’s easy to see why! Their newest full-length album titled “Is Anybody Out There?” is chock-full of catchy, intelligent guitar sections, emotive lyrics, and poignant drums. Just like the old days."
I am definitely glad Mars Hall is on my radar now. Their hard rocking, power-pop based sound is so strong. If I'd heard it the album it probably would have made my "best of 2020" list. It really is that strong.
